I like to come to a new client completely open with no judgements or preconceived notions about the project. I do not begin solving the design problem in that meeting. Instead, I prefer to remain perfectly open until I actually sit down to “work.” Soon, ideas, colors, textures, words, images, impressions and feelings about where to go begin to flow. I trust in the design process and allow it to take me where it will.
I have spent much of my career working with Paula Rees, of Maestri Design in Seattle. She may be the most creative person on the planet. I owe much of who I am as a designer to her. Working at Maestri gave me vast experience working on a wide range of clients—from simple announcements—to multi-million dollar projects which included naming, identity, brochures, websites, newsletters, advertising, corporate graphics, sign systems . . . and everything in between. The majority of the work in the Portfolio section was designed with Paula Rees while working at Maestri.
I now reside in Colorado Springs. I bring a positive outlook, genuine joy, and a lot of creative energy to my work. I take great pride in knowing that the client’s needs have been met.
With over fifteen years of experience in the business, I am excited to be able to turn my attention towards new horizons. I would love to assist you in making your project a big success.
